This machine is quite different
in tablet's conveyance mechanism from conventional machines. With
conventional
machines, an inspector had to change the tablet's direction in order
to inspect the tablet's surface/reverse/side, which often led
to the occurrence of troubles. With this machine, the inspector needs
no change of tablet's direction.

| This machine conveys tablets on conveyor belt,
keeping them in an upright position. It inspects the tablet's surface/reverse
with the CCD two-dimensional cameras placed on both right and left
side. Then it turns tablets by 360 degree on conveyor belt
with a sub-motor, inspecting the tablet's side completely with the
camera placed in the upper part, and then eliminating the defective
tablets at designated position. |
